Overview

Under the Showerhead Exchange Program Victorian households can swap old showerheads for brand new 3-star water efficient showerheads. The water efficient showerheads are free and can help you save water and energy.

Key eligibility

To be eligible for free replacement showerheads, you must:

• have an account with a Victorian water retailer
• register online or by visiting one of the showerhead exchange locations
• take in your old showerhead to exchange it for a new one.

Homeowners, renters and landlords are eligible for this program. If you're renting, you'll need permission from your landlord.

Items covered

Under the Showerhead Exchange Program, you can replace an existing showerhead with a water-efficient, 3 star replacement showerhead.

To swap your old showerheads, you need to register online or contact your local water corporation. There is no limit to the number of showerheads you can swap.
