The H2OME rebate scheme provides South Australian households from $30 to $1,000 for indoor and outdoor water efficiency improvements including showerheads, washing machines, water tanks, dual flush toilets, garden goods, home water audit, hot water re-circulators and pool covers and pool cover rollers.

Home energy incentives

South Australian households can reduce their energy usage by participating in the Residential Energy Efficiency Scheme (REES) to receive assistance with installing efficient lighting, showerheads, draught proofing and upgrading to energy efficient appliances.

Home sustainability assessment

The Green Loans program offers households across Australia access to a free home sustainability assessment and report to help make practical improvements to their home and save energy and water.

LPG gas vehicle conversion

The LPG Vehicle Scheme offers grants of $2,000 towards the purchase of a new vehicle already fitted with LPG or a grant of $1,500 for the LPG conversion of a new or used vehicle. You can only apply for one grant every 3 years.

Renewable power incentives

Households across Australia installing a small scale solar, wind or hydro renewable electricity system may be eligible for a benefit via Renewable Energy Certificates and Solar Credits.

Concession card holders in South Australia, who own and occupy their home, may be eligible for a rebate of $500 for the cost of installing a new solar hot water or electric heat pump hot water system.

Households across Australia that replace an existing electric storage hot water system may be eligible for rebates of $1,000 for a solar hot water system or $600 for a heat pump hot water system under the Renewable Energy Bonus Scheme.

Households across Australia can receive up to $500 under the National Rainwater and Greywater initiative to install rainwater tanks or a greywater treatment system.
