Electricity feed-in tariff

The Solar Bonus Scheme for New South Wales rewards households and businesses that install renewable energy systems such as solar power (photovoltaic - PV) systems or wind turbines by providing a credit for the electricity they generate.

Home energy assessment

NSW residents with an eligible concession card can improve their household energy with the Home Power Savings Program.

Home energy and water rebates

The New South Wales Home Saver Rebates program rewards households who make their home more water and energy efficient with rebates of up to $1,500 for water tanks, $300 for energy efficient hot water systems, $200 for dual flush toilets and $150 for hot water circulators.

Home sustainability assessment

The Green Loans program offers households across Australia access to a free home sustainability assessment and report to help make practical improvements to their home and save energy and water.

LPG gas vehicle conversion

The LPG Vehicle Scheme offers grants of $2,000 towards the purchase of a new vehicle already fitted with LPG or a grant of $1,500 for the LPG conversion of a new or used vehicle. You can only apply for one grant every 3 years.

Rainwater tank rebate

The Rainwater Tank Rebate offers Sydney Water customer’s up to $1,500 if you have bought, paid for in full and installed a new tank between 1 July 2007 and 30 June 2011.

Renewable power incentives

Households across Australia installing a small scale solar, wind or hydro renewable electricity system may be eligible for a benefit via Renewable Energy Certificates and Solar Credits.

Solar hot water or heat pump rebate

Households across Australia that replace an existing electric storage hot water system may be eligible for rebates of $1,000 for a solar hot water system or $600 for a heat pump hot water system under the Renewable Energy Bonus Scheme.

Toilet replacement service

The Toilet Replacement Service offers Sydney Water customers a saving of up to $370 to replace a single-flush toilet with a new 4-star, water-efficient dual-flush toilet.

Water tank or greywater system rebate

Households across Australia can receive up to $500 under the National Rainwater and Greywater initiative to install rainwater tanks or a greywater treatment system.
