The ACT HEAT Energy Audit program offers free advice, consultations and workshops as well as a home energy audit, with a $500 rebate to help ACT households save energy and make their homes more comfortable.

The LPG Vehicle Scheme offers grants of $2,000 towards the purchase of a new vehicle already fitted with LPG or a grant of $1,500 for the LPG conversion of a new or used vehicle. You can only apply for one grant every 3 years.

Households across Australia installing a small scale solar, wind or hydro renewable electricity system may be eligible for a benefit via Renewable Energy Certificates and Solar Credits.

On 16 July 2010 the ToiletSmart program was closed. This program provided ACT households with a $100 rebate to help with the cost of replacing old single-flush toilets with new four-star, water-efficient dual-flush toilets. The new, improved ToiletSmart PLUS program will be announced soon.

The ACT Rainwater Tank Rebate provides residents with up to $1,000 to purchase and connect a new water tank to their internal plumbing. The ACT Internal Connection Rebate provides residents with up to $600 to connect existing water tanks to their internal plumbing.
