For: Home owners; Renters [House]
Overview
GardenSmart is a free service for ACT households where a qualified horticulturist visits your home and offers free advice on how you can save water in the garden. The service is worth $150 and gives you specific advice on water smart plant varieties, garden design and other practical water-efficiency solutions.
After your GardenSmart assessment, you'll be eligible for a $50 rebate to help with the cost of purchasing water-saving products such as garden mulch, trigger nozzles, moisture sensors or even a worm farm. A full list of approved items will be given to you at the time of your assessment.
